Sunrise Management enters, flagstaff, arizona, market

Expanding its presence throughout the western U.S., San Diego-based Sunrise Management, which has specialized in managing multifamily properties since 1978, has added two Flagstaff multifamily communities totaling 148 units to its growing property management portfolio. These communities represent Sunrise’s first in Flagstaff, and include a former hotel that will be converted into apartments.

“We’re very excited to enter this up-and-coming market. It has a thriving population, a nationally recognized university and is within driving distance of some of the country’s most beautiful natural sites,” said Joe Greenblatt, Sunrise Management CEO and president. “These new value add properties expand our Arizona presence, where we have operated for decades and position us for expansion throughout the state.”

Sunrise will oversee all renovations, as well marketing, leasing, and day-to-day operations of the following Coconino County properties – both located on historic Route 66:

Located in the high-country mountains of northern Arizona, Flagstaff is surrounded by mountains, deserts and ponderosa pine forests. Its appeal has spurred rapid growth here. According to the U.S Census, Flagstaff’s population is currently growing at a rate of 1.64% annually and grew from 65,870 in 2010 to more than 78,866 in 2020.
